Our Last Week of Summer

Boy, this week was packed with fun adventures!! We went out on our friends' ski boat and got to see the city from a whole new perspective. At the Llewellyn Popsicle Social, Liam learned that his teachers for 1st grade will be Mrs. Brice and Mrs McIntyre. Very exciting!! School starts for him on Tuesday. We also visited Oaks Park for the first time with our bud, Olen. We had a blast, but thought some of the rides were "a bit too fast." Then on Friday, we road the bus downtown to check out the Lego Games truck with our friends, Nate and Claire. Fun times, but it's a good thing we've had the weekend to recover!! The icing on the cake is that Kirk has had a 4 day weekend. WOOOHOOOOO!! LOVE THAT!!

Liam's BIG #6

In August, we celebrated Liam's 6th birthday with his buds. The party was complete with a water balloon "toss", a game of "pin the bike on the mountain", a pinata, our slip-n-slide, jump ropes and baseball cupcakes. We feel so blessed that our kiddos not only have good friends, but that their friends have GREAT parents. We ALL had a great time celebrating Bubba!! Thanks to Uncle Kraig we now have an official boy blog that I hope to update on a regular basis so family and friends can share in the adventures of Bubba and Noahbean.

It's AMAZING the fun you can have with a box or a cardboard tube!! Luckily Uncle Jeff found this BIG baby and brought it to the boys for some serious rolling action. :)
